This is a trip which offers a delightful exploration of ancient temples and shrines of the three medieval kingdoms of Nepal. The tour also covers fascinating temples at Patan Durbar Square and Swayambunath, known as the ‘monkey temple’ (real monkeys - that can really be a pain in the neck sometimes. Make sure you have some bananas on hand) which is located on a small hillock from where you can have a 360 degree view of Kathmandu valley. The view is even more spectacular at dusk where sparkling lights of the valley can be seen twinkling on the horizons from a very quiet hillock located at a height of 350 feet above ground level. The trip extends to Nagarkot which is a one hour scenic drive out of the valley into one of the most beautiful natural environs in the country.

Added to this will be a blitz into Nepal’s exotic wildlife at the Chitwan National park. You will get to see the massive one-horned rhino, light-footed deer, an elephant breeding centre and the elusive tiger napping in the shade. After this trip in the wild, you will drive to Pokhara through a lush, green highway where from the windows of your vehicle, your eyes will behold snowy mountain landscapes and in the course of your drive, you will pass through little hamlets and villages on the way that will give you some deep insights into Nepal’s rural lifestyles; till you finally reach Pokhara, a beautiful, scenic lake town where nature is amplified with the views of  majestic peaks almost at touching distance, clean water lakes with boating and canoeing thrills at your service.
