Preparations for the two-day 6th Annual Kathmandu Fall Festival Kathmandu fall festival in Sonoma, California, starting from September 11 are underway, the organiser said.

The festival is aimed at promoting various Nepali products and handicrafts along with musical sessions of Nepal, Tibet, India and Pakistan throughout the festival.

According to organisers, an hourly lottery draw is also being planned to attract the flow of visitors. The major prize bonanza includes a round trip air ticket to Nepal from the US and seven days stay in Kathmandu.

For this, a visitor has to buy a ticket of USD 20, also available for USD 50 if three persons from a same family decide to buy the lottery, while the entry fee for the festival is USD 10.

The organisers said that fund generated from the festival would be donated to the Children’s Medical Aid Foundation (CMAF), a non-profit charitable organisation supporting handicapped children from their birth in Nepal since its foundation. source:nepalnews.com
