Kathmandu – December, 8th
Yeti Airlines has donated Rs. 10, 79,784 to four social organizations amidst a function here today. The airlines distributed to each the sum of Rs. 2, 69, 946 for the Helpless Children Welfare Mission, Sewa Kendra Leprosy Relief, Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Centre and the Women for Human rights.

Earlier, it had handed over an amount of Rs. 11, 37, 768 to the above-mentioned organizations. In addition, Yeti Airlines had also donated to Tewa, OCCED, Maiti Nepal, Nepal Leprosy Relief, Nepal Glaucoma Eye  Clinic {Tilganga} and the Sewa Kendra for Leprosy.

The airlines is also providing 50 percent discount on airfares to disabled people, 25 percent to senior citizens and 20 percent discount to UN-affiliated organizations. It would bear well for other commercial enterprises to do likewise and extend a helping hand to organizations serving the unfortunate in our society like the Yeti Airlines who seem to believe in the kind policy of ‘take-a-little-and-share-a-little’ by giving back to the people they earn from.
